Agency Experience – My time at multiple web design agencies has sharpened my skills in fast-paced, creative environments and collaborative team settings.

Here’s a bit about my journey and what led me to create POWA (People Online Web Agency):

🌏 Born to immigrant parents who escaped war and communism in Vietnam, I’ve always seen life in the UK as a blessing.

Growing up, I felt pressure to fit in, but over time I learned that embracing my authentic self was the most powerful choice I could make. It’s helped me build deeper connections and live with purpose.

💻 In the 90s, I fell in love with computers and art.

That passion led me to study Web Design, graduating in 2012.

My family hoped I’d become a doctor or lawyer—but my heart was set on creativity and design.

‍After five years working in web design, I was made redundant—an unexpected challenge that became the launchpad for my next chapter.

👗 I started a festival fashion brand, which grew into a multiple six-figure business.

I built a team of 5+ creatives and ran the brand for 7 years, even through the challenges of COVID.
‍
Creating for people around the world taught me so much about loyalty, storytelling, and community.
